Morpheus8 is a safe and effective method of anti-aging treatment. With Morpheus8, you can get a youthful appearance with smoother and firmer skin. If you have been searching for the best wrinkle filler or similar wrinkle treatments then you should consider Morpheus8 treatment. Morpheus8 is the ideal treatment option for people who are hesitant to undergo laser or surgical procedures but still want to improve their facial appearance. Morpheus8 utilizes radiofrequency for stimulating the skin tightening process and is found to produce impressive results.
How Does Morpheus8 Work?
Morpheus8 is similar to micro-needling but is a more advanced procedure. With micro-needling, the skin is pricked with small needles to generate collagen and tissue, but in Morpheus8 radiofrequency is also involved. This reaches deeper than micro-needling and stimulates collagen and elastin production in the skin. With Morpheus8, you can even get rid of deep creases making it more effective than even the best wrinkle fillers.
For the procedure, a topical numbing cream is used on the treatment area and then the device is pressed on the area. The needles penetrate the skin and once they are in place radiofrequency waves are emitted from the device. The pins reach the subdermal tissue layer of the skin, coagulating the fat and contracting connective tissue. This results in the tightening and rejuvenation of the treated area.
The procedure on the whole takes only about 2 hours and is known to deliver uniform results to all skin types. With Morpheus8, there is no damage to the dermis and also less risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is a side effect associated with some resurfacing techniques.
Dos and Don’ts After the Morpheus8 Procedure
Morpheus8 is an advanced non-invasive procedure for skin tightening. Patients who undergo the procedure often have questions about aftercare. Here is some information and tips for recovery after the procedure.
What to Expect
Immediately after the procedure is done, patients experience redness for 1-3 days, though this can be prolonged if the treatment is aggressive.
Crusting and peeling of skin for 3-7 days after treatment.
Redness and swelling of the skin for 3-4 days after treatment.
Wash your hands before touching your face and use clean pillowcases.
Cleanse your skin with mild soap or face wash so as to not irritate the healing skin. After washing, gently pat the area dry with a clean towel.
Keep the skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer or ointment.
It is best to avoid wearing makeup till the skin heals but if is absolutely necessary, use mild products. Use a clean makeup brush.
After the initial healing is over (24 hours after the procedure) apply high-SPF sunscreen when outside. Avoid chemical sunscreens and prefer physical sunscreens.
Wear sunscreen with SPF over 30 at all times to protect your complexion and to avoid sun damage in the future.
Avoid going out in the sun as much as possible and definitely avoid tanning beds. Direct sun exposure can cause hyperpigmentation.
Avoid using anything classified as active skincare products and products with harmful chemicals.
Bathing is allowed but do not scrub the treated area. Avoid swimming for 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid soaps with heavy fragrance and perfumes.
Exfoliating skin products should be avoided until the skin heals.
There might be small pinpoint scabs after the treatment. Avoid picking at the skin peels since it can lead to scarring or hyperpigmentation of the skin.
Attending gym along with heavy exercise routines should be avoided for 24 hours post-treatment - sweating can lead to the build-up of bacteria on the skin.
Morpheus8 can treat various skin complaints like sagging skin, wrinkles, sun damage, stretch marks, and more. To add to that, Morpheus8 treatments do not hurt much.
